Kingsmead School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in the Enfield Town area of the London Borough of Enfield, England. The school converted to academy status in February 2012, and was previously a community school under the direct control of Enfield London Borough Council. Kingsmead School is highly diverse, almost half of pupils do not speak English as a first language and a further third have special educational needs.〔http://www.education.gov.uk/inyourarea/schools/school_3084015.shtml〕 Kingsmead School offers GCSEs and OCR Nationals as programmes of study for pupils, while sixth form students can choose to study from range of A Levels. The school has a specialism in Performing and Visual Arts, and has additional facilities for the specialisms.
